National Grocers Association Announces Storewide Processes for Measurable Shrink Reduction Workshop for 2017 NGA Conference

SCOTTSDALE, AZ:     The National Grocers Association (NGA) and Larry Miller – President of Smart Retail Solutions and Creator of ProfitTrax – have partnered to present a workshop on storewide shrink prevention best practices at the upcoming NGA Conference in Las Vegas.

The workshop will feature Mike Beal – COO of Balls Food Stores in Kansas City – and Peter Waldman – RDO at Lucky’s Market in Niwot, CO. The workshop is set to be moderated by Larry Miller and will be held at the 2017 NGA Show in Las Vegas on February 13th at 9:45am.

The National Grocers Association recently posted the following description as the Workshop’s focus:

“Industry research suggests that over 2/3 of store shrink is due to ineffective store-level practices. A store-wide commitment to tracking, measuring and reducing shrink and the creation of operational processes that emphasize store profit are tried and true best practices for reducing loss. Take away shrink reduction strategies that include all areas of store operations, including inventory management, front-end operations, price/item file management and back door receiving.”

Attendees will have the opportunity to participate throughout, but an open Q&A will conclude the workshop. Attendees are also welcome to visit with session leaders on the NGA Show Expo Floor at Booth #517 following the workshop.
